Mark has stated on his home page that LuLu.com now makes hardcover books and he is toying with the idea of upgrading not only the covers, but also the font size of "The Two Travelers" due to complaints that the font in "Pocket" is too small to read comfortably. This would, however, give "Two Travelers" an ENORMOUS size meriting glances even from Harry Potter and Inheritance Trilogy fans.
He wants our opinion before he makes a final decision, so I thought I'd ask you what you thought. See his homepage for more information.

I voted Covers, not Fonts, for these reasons I posted on Mark's comments page:
See, I just got the book I illustrated yesterday and it was $5 more as a hardback (I got it for free as a Thank-You gift though), and self-published books tend to be more anyway, even before being hard cover. If you think you can balance the costs-profit or none-I'd say go for it, because, to quote Cornelia Funke's character Mortimer in the "Inkheart" Trilogy: "Paperbacks are like books in beachware: good for vacations but not suitable for everywhere else" (I'm not sure if the quote's exact but it's close enough).
As for the large print of TT, I'd say no because I know a lot of people who won't read Paolini because his books are so thick (even though it's just the large print). It was the same with the newer Three Harry Potter books-a lot of lazy people stopped reading them because they'll only read short books. I think it's dumb but people do judge books by their cover, and they tend to be less intimidated by smaller books. People who stop reading because it's hard to read-well, I really don't know; I've been blinded by the number of computer screens I sit in front of every day (more or less three at school and one at home.) So I just wear my contacts-or the glasses I'll be getting soon.

I've voted for bigger font. I don't care much for hardcovers. They may be more durable, but also heavier which leads to be NOT taking taking them outside, taking advantage of their durability. Just a tiny bit larger letters would help ease the reading.

I voted covers, not fonts because I am more likely to buy a book that is hardback if I like the series or author than I am to buy a Large print edition type of thing.
